Dr. Adachi specializes in chemistry, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals. During his doctoral course, he focused on neuroscience, molecular genetics, biochemistry, and biotechnology, and he has research experience in the analysis of molecular mechanisms of behavioral and neuronal plasticity. Prior to joining SHIGA, Dr. Adachi conducted research on molecular mechanisms of ciliogenesis and microtubule-associated proteins of animals and plants at a private Japanese university.
