Comments from Speaker
An IP High Court (IPHC) decision in 2019, which provides insight on how to protect a newly discovered mechanism in the field of life science in Japan, will be presented. The IPHC decision provides a specific example of how inherency is handled. The IPHC also provides a specific example of discussing (by the IPHC) a new patient group in order to establish novelty for this specific case. We hope that this webinar will be particularly useful to those who are handling life science cases.
