An Invalidation Trial is one way to attack a competitor’s patent. Although the process of an Invalidation Trial is based on submission of documents, an Oral Hearing is held during the Invalidation Trial. It is said that the Oral Hearing is kind of ceremonial. But I would like to focus on what happens during an Oral Hearing and what we can do after.
