Comments from Speaker
In this webinar, I will explain various practices about how to deal with the description requirements for a patent application (Japanese Patent Law, Article 36), which may be unique. The topics will be (i) how to deal with the clarity objection regarding features specified by the terms such as “preferably”, “for example”, “such as”, “more particularly”, “optionally”, “about”, “approximately”, “substantially” in light to the doctrine of equivalents; (ii) definitions of parameters; (iii) PBP (product-by-process) claims; and (iv) multiple-multiple dependent claims.
